Right now, the lives of over three million people in the UK are threatened by chronic kidney disease.
Kidney Research UK is funding vital research projects. By helping scientists to understand more about the condition, they will get ever closer to ?nding better prevention, treatments and ultimately a cure. They have over £9.5 million invested in research at any one time, awarding grants to doctors, nurses and researchers across the UK. They also award grants to kidney patients so that they can cope with the unexpected costs of their condition. 		11
