NxStage Users
Although you may dialyze at home you don’t have to be isolated. NxStage Users is a patient organized group of people who use the NxStage System One Dialysis System. Even though the main focus is NxStage, it is open to all patients, caregivers and those just interested about receiving more information about dialysis in general. It is independent of NxStage Medical, Inc. and all dialysis centers. NxStage Users is more than a discussion group; it is proactive in its support and advocacy for the NxStage patient community. The group is dedicated to being a true “family” where all people are treated equally and with the utmost respect and provides a comfortable setting for sharing our mutual interests as we travel the same road of home hemodialysis with the NxStage System One. Our members are both dialysis veterans and newcomers from all parts of the country. Why not join a group where you have the freedom to say what you want and learn from others doing the same treatment. Why not share what you have learned so others can benefit? Together we can make each other’s life more fulfilling. And you won’t have to feel like you’re all alone!
For those contemplating NxStage, we’re here to help. Although our Group ListServ is limited to actual users and caregivers of NxStage, our Public Forum is open to the all. You’ll find a slew of sub-forums in which you can post any question or comment. We also have a selfless and supportive group of individuals who are willing to answer questions and mentor people considering the NxStage and Home Hemodialysis (HHD) modality. Please feel free to take advantage of the opportunity to discuss issues directly with NxStage dialyzors or care partners one-on-one. We’ll match you up with the appropriate person.
